L'ALFA 15 HP (poi Alfa Romeo) è stata prodotta dal 1911 al 1913, nota per essere la seconda auto prodotta dall'azienda e per aver inaugurato la sua lunga tradizione sportiva. Progettata da Giuseppe Merosi, la ALFA 15 HP fu introdotta nel 1911 come modello derivato dalla precedente 12 HP. Rappresentò un'evoluzione, con miglioramenti al motore e al telaio rispetto al modello precedente. Nel 1911, una versione da corsa, la 15 HP Corsa, stabilì un notevole record di velocità, raggiungendo i 95 km/h, un risultato impressionante per l'epoca. La produzione fu limitata a circa 100 unità prima di essere sostituita dai modelli successivi come la 15-20 HP. La vettura qui rappresentata fu immatricolata a Milano nel 1912, fu una delle prime auto con fari elettrici.
The ALFA 15 HP (later Alfa Romeo) was produced from 1911 to 1913, notable for being the company's second car and for inaugurating its long racing tradition. Designed by Giuseppe Merosi, the ALFA 15 HP was introduced in 1911 as a derivative of the previous 12 HP. It represented an evolution, with improvements to the engine and chassis compared to the previous model. In 1911, a racing version, the 15 HP Corsa, set a remarkable speed record, reaching 95 km/h, an impressive achievement for the time. Production was limited to around 100 units before being replaced by later models such as the 15-20 HP. The car pictured here was registered in Milan in 1912 and was one of the first cars with electric headlights.
